Kristin Geenty Brokers Sale of 12-Acre Former Risdon Manufacturing Site to Borough of Naugatuck

Kristin Geenty, President of The Geenty Group, Realtors, announces the sale of 0 Andrew Avenue, Naugatuck to the Borough of Naugatuck. The 12-acre site sold for $400,000. Kristin Geenty and Cheryl Morris were the brokers in the transaction.

The Seller was MVH, LLC and its Principal is Robert Matthews of Palm Beach, Florida. The property had been the site of Risdon Manufacturing for 87 years before moving to Watertown in 2000. The building was subsequently demolished, and the sale was part of a bankruptcy action. Attorney Christian Panagakos of Florida Bankruptcy Advisors, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Attorney Michael Karsch of Rice Pugatch Robinson Storfer & Cohen of Fort Lauderdale, Florida were the attorneys for the Seller. Attorney Gary O’Connor of Pullman & Comley in Hartford, CT was the attorney for the Buyer. The Borough plans to incorporate the parcel into their master plan for Rubber Avenue and potentially the Port of Naugatuck.
