The Geenty Group Walks Off with TWO CID Deal of the Year Awards

The Annual Awards dinner of the New Haven Middlesex Realtors Association’s Commercial Investment Division saw both Kristin Geenty & Kevin Geenty of The Geenty Group, Realtors walk away with Deal of the Year awards in recognition of two significant 2021 commercial real estate transactions.

The pair together received the award for Deal of the Year in the Business & Real Estate category for their representation of the sellers of Quinnipiac River Marina and several associated properties located at 289-317 & 318 Front Street, New Haven. The $1.7 million transaction included the marina business, its buildings, facilities & equipment, an adjacent 9,500 SF multi-tenant office building, two single-occupancy rental houses and a paved lot. This was the largest Business & Real Estate transaction of 2021.

Kevin Geenty received the award for the Deal of the Year in the Industrial Lease category for a $3.5 million transaction in which he represented tenant Fresh Bev, LLC in a 10-year lease of 46,750 SF at 3 Sterling Drive, Wallingford. This constituted the largest industrial lease of 2021.
